Waihe'e by Moonlight: 2010 Night Hikes

Explore Waihe‘e Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge by full moon on these special guided night hikes. Refreshments and snacks will be served before heading out on the easy two-mile walking path. Along the way, Maui Coastal Land Trust project manager Scott Fisher will guide the group through the ancient Hawaiian fishing village of Kapoho while sharing the history, lore, and chicken-skin stories of this special place. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Space is limited. The event is open to the public for a $25 donation.
